Brunello di Montalcino, ambassador of the high quality of Italian enology in the world, was the first wine to obtain DOCG recognition. Brunello shows a brilliant ruby red color, which tends to garnet over the years. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of violet, tobacco, chocolate and pleasant flavors of undergrowth and vanilla. The mouth has excellent correspondence to the nose, a well balanced attack, full body, good tannins and important texture.
