Fossolupaio is Rosso di Montepulciano DOC produced with 85% Sangiovese and 15% Syrah. On the nose it expresses the floral and red fruit notes of young Sangiovese combined with nuanced spicy notes; the taste is moderately structured, savory and pleasant to drink. It accompanies the whole meal. Aging and maturation: At least 6 months in steel and 3 months in bottle. Pairings: Ideal with traditional Tuscan dishes, vegetable or meat-based first courses and all grilled or baked red meats.
