Alimenti Family from Assisi will be in the US next february and March. During our trip we will present wonderful Italian wines, new extra virgin olive oil that we are preparing now in Italy, a great selection of black truffles and Aceto Balsamico di Modena.
If you would like to enjoy an Italian evening with us, we propose an Italian dinner for you and your friends. Our Dinner-Tasting will be offered by us with no request for payment to the people who participate. We only ask that the people participating will be informed that the tasting is geared towards the purchase of wines, olive oil and truffles from Italy.
What wine Experience Includes?
-Complimentary tasting of italian wines, oils, and vinegars
-An engaging lesson on the art of winemaking inItaly, exploring the influences of soil, climate, and tradition.
-Etiquette lesson on wine tasting, covering glass handling and wine swirling techniques
-Insight into the delightful world of food and wine pairing
Which wines will be tasted?
Brunello di Montalcino, Barolo, Barbera, Chianti Classico, Amarone della Valpolicella, Nobile di Montepulciano, Nero d'avola, Taurasi, Etna Rosso, Sangiovese, Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet Frank, Merlot, Montefalco Sagrantino, Super Tuscan, amazing italian white wines and bubbles and many more are available or tasting.
The tasting will consist of two white wines and three or more red wines. From wine list wines will be choosed together with you for tasting.
All wines and food for tasting will be sent directly from our store from Assisi to your home address one month before. Very small prestigious selections not available to get in the US liquor store, wine shop or online.
We will provide free tax, duty and free insurance for all people who will partecipe.
What does Italian food tasting consist of?
-Tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and Truffles.
The tasting will be concluded with italian pasta.
-Please keep in mind that our Tasting Menu serves as an example, and the actual products may vary based on wine availability and seasonal variations.
What do we need from you?
-We will need a location that can comfortably be your home. A kitchen available where we can prepare our things and snacks to accompany the wine tasting.
-Typically, we require a minimum of 20 participants, (people who love Italian wines and food, interested in buying from Italy and your collaboration to make this event unforgettable to host the Wine Tasting event) but there's no maximum limit.
-We will need 1/2 plate for each person, plates can also be paper if you don't have regular plates for everyone. 1 fork and 1 knife. And 1 glass of wine for each person. In addition to this we will need a couple of serving dishes, a large pot to cook the pasta and an oven available.
-Your cooperation in providing these details will ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.

What is the purpose of the evening?
The aim of this evening is to offer the opportunity to tase wine through the authentic flavors of the best small artisan producers in Italy. All wines will be carefully selected, little or not at all available on the US market. At the end of the evening, participants will purchase the wines they tasted, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Italian truffles which will then be shipped directly to their home, via Fedex or Upps courier, without taxes and import duties.
All people who host the event will be our guests on their next trip to Italy, in Assisi. We have our apartment a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Francesco. We will host you for two nights, with an excellent Italian dinners, a visit to one important Umbrian or Tuscan wineries and one excellent wine tastings. All of this will be offered to you who host us in the United States.
