Grattamacco, a super Tuscan made with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 15% Sangiovese. It's a wine of extraordinary elegance and structure, revealing intense aromas of wild berries, Mediterranean scrub, sweet spices, and tobacco on the nose. It's a deep and harmonious wine, with dense, silky tannins, great freshness, and a long, balsamic finish. Aged for 18 months in barrique and a further 12 months in bottle, it's a long-lived wine, capable of aging magnificently over time. A great Tuscan classic, which with the 2021 vintage reaches heights of rare finesse.
