Lucente is a soft, rich and fragrant Tuscan red wine, aged for 15 months in barrique. It has hints of black fruit, wild berry jam and sweet spices. The sip is round, energetic and seductive, with body and structure, with an elegant and velvety tannic texture. "Lucente" comes from a selection of grapes from the best vineyards: the Merlot is usually harvested at the beginning of September, while the Sangiovese at the end of the month. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 °C, with maceration on the skins for about twenty days. The wine ages for 12 months in barriques, partly new and partly already used and completes the refinement with a few months in the bottle. The nose reveals small dark berry fruits, cherry, plum, spicy notes and subtle woody nuances.
